- How to plan and deliver services effectively using the Plan & Deliver process group (SPM, SLM, SRM, CRM, SUPPM, SACM, CAPM & ISM)
- How to operate and control services using the Operate & Control process group (CONFM, CHM, RDM, ISRM, PM & CSI)
- Applying the Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) cycle to drive Continual Service Improvement
- Managing risks, roles and responsibilities within a service management system
- How FitSM relates to other frameworks such as ITIL, ISO/IEC 20000 and COBIT
Entry Requirements
- There are no formal prerequisites – the FitSM Foundation course is open to all candidates
- Prior experience in IT service delivery or IT operations is recommended but not required

- Duration: 1 day (8 hours of training plus a 30-minute examination)
- Certification: APMG International
- Exam: 20 multiple-choice questions, 30 minutes, closed book – pass mark 65% (13 of 20)
