Build a career in stock management and logistics
The Occupational Certificate: Dispatching and Receiving Clerk (SAQA ID 99446) is a QCTO-registered qualification at NQF Level 3 that prepares learners to operate effectively in the receiving and dispatch environment. A Dispatching and Receiving Clerk records goods received into a business and the dispatch of goods from a business, while minimising losses to the establishment and maintaining accurate stock records.
This qualification is particularly relevant in the wholesale and retail sector, where managing stock movement is critical to reducing shrinkage and ensuring operational efficiency. The programme combines knowledge modules, practical skills training and structured workplace experience to produce competent clerks who can manage end-to-end stock flow.
The qualification offers two distinct focus areas – Dispatch Clerk and Receiving Clerk – which may also be obtained as part qualifications, allowing learners to specialise based on their career goals or workplace requirements.
